Semichas Chaver Chabad is an exciting, yeshiva-style program designed for participants to learn the most important halachic topics in-depth, starting with the Talmud and continuing with the Code of Jewish Law and contemporary halachic experts.
Each topic is treated comprehensively, with an emphasis on practical, modern-day application. Weekly shiurim are given by Rabbi Mendy Wineberg, a seasoned expert in the field of halachic instruction. Course materials are provided in Hebrew and English. Additionally, participants receive materials geared for family discussion, so that the topics learned can be brought home as well.
The Semichas Chaver Chabad Program is endorsed by the Orthodox Union and leading Chabad rabbonim. At the conclusion of each semester, participants will take a test and receive a Semichas Chaver Certificate signed by leading Rabbonim in the world and in Chabad.
