Nearly two years have passed since October 7, a day that changed us all. Legacy of the Fallen will bring our community together in remembrance and solidarity, honoring the lives lost and standing with families whose world was shattered.
The program will feature reflections from community leaders and family members, including Alex and Maya Malayev, parents of Lt. Yoav Malayev, a 19-year-old IDF officer who fell while protecting his soldiers, and David and Robin Lubin, parents of Sgt. Rose Lubin, 20, who was murdered while guarding Jerusalem. Representatives from the Israeli Consulate will also share remarks and reflections.
A special lunch prepared from the favorite recipes of victims and hostages will be served, creating a living memorial to their stories and legacies.
